Joy Became The Resistance is a documentary short from the perspective of a photographer documenting the protests and police riots in New York City during the Covid-19 pandemic.
We created a film tying a personal story about NYC with photos created for Happy Socks to allow for a shared message about social justice to their +800K followers. An in-store exhibition followed along with a series of private viewings.
